Our Mission

Grounded Growth Initiative is a Roaring Fork Valley–based nonprofit dedicated to removing the financial barrier between underserved community members and the transformative practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Our focus is access, not facilities. We partner with established academies across the valley and fund scholarships that put people on the mat — consistently, with accountability, and with community behind them.

Your contribution goes directly into the scholarship fund, supporting the training, resources, and operational needs that keep scholars on the mat and the program running.

We Partner
We work with established Jiu-Jitsu academies throughout the Roaring Fork Valley to place scholarship recipients where they train best.

They Train
Scholarship recipients attend classes consistently, follow gym expectations, and commit to training. Partner gyms submit monthly attendance reports so donor support is used responsibly.
